Learning goals:
1. Students will learn how to carry out standard fMRI data analyses using the FMRIB Software
Library (FSL).
2. Students will learn how the modeling options in FSL differ and will know when and how to
properly use these options.
3. Students will become familiar with the Unix operating system and will become comfortable
operating FSL using scripts.
4. Students will present in class advanced imaging analysis techniques such as PPI, rsfMRI,
MVPA
Assignments:
1. Data analysis in class.
2. Each student will be required to read the required reading material and answer questions at the
beginning of the following week. This will be part of your class participation grade.
3. At the end of the course each student will be required to replicate the results of one of the data
sets publicly available on openfMRI.org.
