Research interests
Our lab studies how epigenetic mechanisms regulate plant responses to changing environmental conditions. We are particularly interested in how chromatin states shape gene expression and developmental plasticity in response to nutrient availability, and how these responses are coordinated across different tissues and cell types. By combining molecular biology, genomics, epigenomics and targeted epigenome engineering, we aim to uncover the mechanisms that allow plants to sense and adapt to their environment and to develop new strategies for improving nutrient use efficiency in crops.
