This course introduces students to the concepts, programs and policies of food security. The course is designed to meet the needs of students in the fields of life sciences, social sciences, public health and environmental studies.

Topic 8. Accessibility: Famines and acute denial of food access
Topic 9. Acceptability: Food as nourishment and health
