תנאים להגשת העבודה בפורמט אסופת מאמרים:

1. מספר המאמרים:
   העבודה תכלול לפחות שלושה מאמרים מחקריים מקוריים (לא מאמרי סקירה) שפורסמו או התקבלו לפרסום בכתבי עת מובילים בתחום, המקיימים הליך שיפוט.
2. תרומת התלמיד:
   לתלמיד תרומה מכרעת במאמרים. הוא מופיע כמחבר ראשון במאמרים אלה, למעט במקרים שבהם סדר הופעת המחברים הוא אלפאביתי, או כאשר המנחה מופיע ראשון.
3. מאמרים עם תרומה שווה (Equal Contribution):
   ניתן לכלול בעבודת דוקטור המורכבת ממאמרים מאמר אחד בלבד שבו תרומת התלמיד מצוינת כ-Equal Contribution, או שני מאמרים כאלה, ובלבד שאחד מהם התקבל לפרסום בכתב עת מדורג ב-10% העליונים בתחומו.
4. מאמרים משותפים:
   מאמר שבין מחבריו מספר תלמידי מחקר יוכל להופיע בעבודות הדוקטור של שני תלמידים בלבד, ובתנאי שלתלמידים אלה הייתה תרומה ייחודית וחשובה.
5. תקופת המחקר:
   יובאו בחשבון אך ורק מאמרים המבוססים על מחקר שנעשה לאחר קבלת התלמיד כ"תלמיד מחקר שלב א'", וקשורים לנושא עבודת הדוקטור כפי שאושר בהצעת המחקר.
    

מבנה העבודה בפורמט אסופת מאמרים:

1. מבוא:
   יכלול סקירה נרחבת ועדכנית של תחום המחקר הכללי, הצגת מטרות המחקר, סקירה כללית של המאמרים והתרומה של העבודה המוצגת בהם לתחום המחקר הכללי, הקשר ביניהם וכיצד הם יוצרים מבנה המשכי והגיוני.
2. המאמרים:
   המאמרים ייכללו בסדר כרונולוגי, לפי רצף התקדמות המחקר, כאשר הם מהווים מחקר אינטגרטיבי אחד.
3. תוצאות נוספות:
   ניתן לשלב פרק נוסף שיכלול ממצאים נוספים רלוונטיים לעבודה שהושגו על ידי התלמיד במהלך המחקר.
4. דיון וסיכום:
   יכלול דיון כללי נרחב בתוצאות המחקר ובמשמעותן, משמעות התוצאות שהוצגו במאמרים, והבלטת החידושים ותרומתם לתחום.
5. רשימת מקורות:
   תכלול את המקורות למבוא ולסיכום, וכאלה שאינם מופיעים במאמרים.
    

הליך הגשת העבודה בפורמט אסופת מאמרים:

• יש להגיש בקשה לוועדה היחידתית( פקולטטית) לתלמידי מחקר, הכוללת:
  • מכתבי הסבר מאת התלמיד והמנחה.
  • עותק של המאמרים.
  • אישור הועדה המלווה להגשת העבודה בפורמט אסופת מאמרים (יש להוסיף התייחסות בדו"ח המסכם).
  • טופס בקשה מלא (מצורף).
• לאחר השלמת כל המסמכים, יש לשלוח את כל המסמכים במייל אחד לרכזת המדרשה

נוהל הגשת עבודת דוקטור

According to the PhD submission regulations at Tel Aviv University, students are allowed to submit their thesis in the format of a Collection of Articles. This format enables submission of a thesis consisting of several peer-reviewed research articles that have been published or accepted for publication, instead of a traditional monograph.

Conditions for Submitting a Thesis as a Collection of Articles

1. Number of Articles:
   The thesis must include at least three original research articles (not review articles) that have been published or accepted in leading peer-reviewed journals in the relevant field.
2. Student's Contribution:
   The student must have a significant contribution to each article and must appear as first author, except in cases where the author list is alphabetical or the advisor is listed first.
3. Equal Contribution Articles:
   Only one article may indicate the student as having made an equal contribution. If two such articles are included, one must be accepted in a journal ranked in the top 10% of its field.
4. Joint Authorship Among PhD Students:
   An article co-authored by multiple PhD students can be included in no more than two theses, provided each student made a unique and significant contribution.
5. Research Timeline:
   Only articles based on research conducted after the student’s admission to Stage A of the PhD program and that are relevant to the approved research proposal may be included.

Structure of the Thesis:

1. Introduction:
   A comprehensive and up-to-date literature review, outlining the research goals, a general overview of the included articles, their contribution to the research field, and the logical connection between them.
2. The Articles:
   Articles should be arranged chronologically, in accordance with the research progress, and form one coherent, integrated body of work.
3. Additional Results:
   If applicable, an additional chapter may be included with relevant findings not published in the articles but obtained during the research.
4. Discussion and Conclusion:
   A general discussion of the research findings, their significance, and an emphasis on the innovation and contribution of the thesis to the field.
5. Bibliography:
   A list of references cited in the introduction, discussion, and any sources not appearing in the articles.

Submission Process:

• A request must be submitted to the   Faculty Committee for Research Students, including:
  • Explanatory letters from both the student and the advisor.
  • Copies of the articles.
  • Approval from the Supervisory Committee to submit the thesis in article format (should be referenced in the final progress report).
  • A completed request form (attached).
• Once all documents are complete, send them in a single email to the Graduate Studies Office. ilonac@tauex.tau.ac.il.
